The Department Association “ACME - Activate your Catchy Memory for Technical Enhancement?actively involves itself in conducting various activities for the development of the students. National Seminars, Group discussion sessions, placement training activities, conferences, workshops and guest lectures are some of the salient features that can be mentioned.

The Lions club presented the Best Social Contributor award for the year 2005-06 to the department of Computer Science for the service rendered to the rural women by conducting “Kiosk -a Computer Awareness programme?for the self help group.
