The College has signed MOU with Photonics Integration-Core Electronics Global Centre of Excellence (PIC- COE), Tokyo Institute of Technology in the field of Nano technology. Our faculty Dr. Mohankumar has gone for a research visit to Tokyo Institute of technology on 23 September, 2010 to exchange research ideas with the working community of TIT and come up with exclusive result objectives.

IEEE EDS SKP - Madras Chapter was inaugurated by Prof. Ram Gopal Rao, IIT, Mumbai on Monday, 20th September 2010 in the Accord Metropolitan, T.Nagar, Chennai-17. This EDS chapter is the fifth one in all India basis and first self financing college to chair EDS Chapter in India. The EDS inaugural function was facilitated by Prof. Pallab Banergee, IIT Khoragpur, Prof. C.K.Sarkar, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, Prof. Amitava Das Gupta, IIT Madras, Prof. Nanditha Das Gupta, IIT Madras, Prof. Enakshi Bhattacharya, IIT Madras.
