Aim of the Course:

The ME Power system Engineering Department is one of the Core Engineering Department. With rapid Industrial growth in the Country, there is bound to be an explosive growth in power Sector and Heavy Electrical Industries, opening enormous opportunities for graduate Electric Engineers. Keeping this in view, we impart the necessary training to our graduates in this department.

Salient Features:

Laboratories have been upgraded for the experimentation work to be carried out at P.G. programme level and this will further boost Research and Development activities in Electrical Engineering related fields. The students of the Department have been securing large number of merit positions in the University Examinations and fairly good number of placements in national and multinational companies of repute.

The Department has faculty strength of Two Professor, Three Associate Professors and is headed by Dr.C.Kumar who has a vast Academic experience of over 42 years and has specialized in, Power Systems and Control Systems.
